Just gonna leave this here:

I can't believe I was lucky enough to see this show for free. I didn't know it at the time, but this was also this composition's premiere - "The Plan" wasn't out yet and this was the first time it was performed live. This recording has been on iTunes for a while (absolutely worth the buck fitty) but I just noticed someone uploaded it to YouTube. So check it outs. Especially the Tina Guo cello solo. LOOK AT THAT.

Also the live version is about a dozen times better than the soundtrack album version.

"Psychonauts" is adorable. I love this game, even with its kinda wonky PC controls and awkward camera. I can't believe I didn't buy it sooner.

So if everything goes according to plan, tomorrow I will be the owner of a 55 inch rear projection TV. Price: helping a friend move.

Not bad. Worst case scenario: if I hate it, we'll just sell it on CraigsList for a few hundred bucks and have the buyer pick it up.

Watchin' this episode of DS9 and I realize, heh, this is kinda funny. Whoever wrote this one was having a lot of fun. I think to myself, I bet it was Ronald D. Moore. And yes, it was.

Didn't take many pictures in Houston (I have gotten real shy about taking pictures of people, I dunno, I hate being *that guy with the camera*) but here are some pictures of animals who cannot judge me

The chicken and dumplings... were all right! Not great! But all right. Broth, veggies and dumplings were good, chicken was a bit bland. The ~*working theory*~ is that I used low sodium chicken broth and that made the chicken taste less salty than it should?

The green beans weren't great, but I could eat them which means they weren't terrible since I don't usually like them. I made some mistakes that I'm too ashamed to admit but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Thinkin' I'll try beef-and-turkey meatloaf next time.

The chicken and dumplings are about an hour and a half away from being ready! It smells delicious but I am worried I messed up somewhere. UGGGH. I hope it turns out. Oh god and I still have to do the green beans. I am the Neurotic Cook.

You know how cabs will sometimes have a little plastic saint stuck on their dashboards?

I decided our apartment needed something like that.

Tonight is my last night in Houston! I want to thank everyone who came out to hang with us in Austin or fed me in Houston or fed me in Austin and came out to hang with us in Houston, whichever, however, whomever.

And to everyone I will be missing at New Year's Eve, have fun, be safe, don't take food into the hot tub.

I love you all and I can't wait to hang with you again.
